Milano is the city of Aperitivo. Every bar in the city serves Aperitivo in the evenings; otherwise they would go out of business. Having such a large variety, it is a tough choice to make. One of my favorite aperitivo places is Living, serving aperitivo from 18:00 - 21:30 (located right next to the Arco de la Pace).
It is a trendy all-round place, which means they serve breakfast, lunch, aperitivo, dinner, after-dinner drinks and brunch on the weekends. I prefer it for the great aperitivo – beautiful bar ambiance, nice lounge / house music, great cocktails, high – quality food products, big terrace overlooking Parco Sempione and Arco de la Pace...and last but not least beautiful people.
The owners claim it is the first 'real' vodka bar in Milano with more than 100 different types of vodka. I would say that overall their strength are the cocktails (I tend to order a Negroni or Moscow Mule).
Tip – if you feel like a low-key place on a particular evening, then leave Living to another evening when you feel like sipping a cocktail amongst trendy (and slightly posh) people; my favorite is going there on Sunday evening.
