Truth be told, everyone wants to look beautiful. Dressing up won't help a great deal if your hair's a mess. Unfortunately, finding a hairdresser is one of the most difficult endeavours when moving to a new city. May sound a bit weird, but whenever I was a new kid in town I chose my hairdresser after having peeped into the shop and decided whether I liked the interior design or not. Crazily enough, it worked – always.
C + R's interior is designed to take you out of the daily hustle and bustle. The whole space is a great puristic combination of wood, steel and iron in warm Mediterranean colours. All of these elements combine into a harmonious clean look and feel, a zen-like style. The beauty of perfectly combined basics.
And this is what you can expect when it comes to your haircut and colouring – slow hair care. Accuracy and perfection, inventiveness and elegance. Only organic products, all of the treatments are locally produced in Italy, harnessing the power of herbal ingredients and clays.
The hairstylist of my choice is one of the owners – Veeshal – Italian with Mauritian roots and a genius when it comes to hair. He really has magic in his hands, creates the right cut for everyone and realises it with incredible perfection. Being fluent in many languages, you can have a lovely chat with him during your cut.
More than once strangers stopped me on the street to compliment me on my haircut. That's great, isn't it?
