On top of the 21 House of Stories Navigli hotel, I Mirador is a rooftop bar in a city so flat that walking up to the second floor is considered hiking. So this is a place to see the city from above, let your eyes wander and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The panoramic views across the city span from the Duomo to San Siro, CityLife to Torre Velasca. Expect a playful decor and bright ceramic details. The vibe is relaxed elegance, and you absolutely need a reservation for this spot. It is open when the weather is nice (spring to autumn) for lunch and aperitivo hours. The pool is just for looks, not for swimming.
I Mirador is one of the few places that allows you to sip the city. I remember leaning back on a plush seat as the pink-orange sky draped over rooftops and a beloved skyline, leaving the noise of the city very far away, although it is located in every popular and busy area. If you are looking for a romantic escape above the city, or a stylish spot to host a small gathering, I Mirador turns every sip into a skyline story.
