In the past couple of years, Japanese restaurants have flourished all over Milan with astonishing rapidity. This array on possibilities often makes it hard to distinguish the more commercial spots from the ones that are committed to serving an authentic quality Japanese experience. If you cringe at the thought of "All You Can Eat" joints and prefer to invest in the quality ingredients, Osaka is the place for you!
This restaurant has been in Milan since 1999, way before eating sushi was even a trend. A pioneer when it comes to promoting Japanese culture in Milan, the staff is dedicated to making your experience truly unique.
In addition to impeccable sushi, the menu also offers what I personally like to call "the best ramen in the city"!! I have tried multiple ramen all over town but must say that this one beats them all! I personally recommend the Tonkotsu Ramen (it is the one you can see in the photo) that will blow you away with its refined flavour!! If you are looking for a great starter, my favorite dish are the gyoza! These dumplings are cooked to perfection and I could probably have an entire meal with an endless amounts of gyoza!
Did I mention that Osaka is located in one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Milan? The Brera area is perfect if you want to grab a drink after dinner or enjoy some local shops if you are in the area for lunch!
