This hangout place is a real institution in Milan and if you are in town you have got to come here at least once or twice! Radetzky Cafe opened in 1988 and has since become of the most recognized and famous bars in Milan.
It normally hosts an interesting crowd on any given day of the week. During the week most people come here for after work drinks while during the weekend people come here before going to a club or for after dinner drinks.
Don't expect a very intricate or elaborate décor but quite the opposite. At a first glance this place is very minimal and simple yet don't be fooled as it usually attracts a very trendy crowd. It also helps that it holds the perfect location right between Brera, Corso Como and the city center.
You can come here for brunch, lunch and aperitivo. I personally think it is perfect for a cocktail and finger food before dinner and also for drinks after dinner. On a nice summer night or even a chilly winter one people usually sit outside and the sidewalk gets full pretty quickly.
As a side note, they don't take reservations so if you are with a big group of people come early or you won't find a table!
