Take a hidden location with a gorgeous garden, vintage furniture and hand-carved surfboards hanging on the wall and you have a recipe for a whimsical cocktail bar! When you enter Surfer's Den it is almost like entering Narnia's closet. A black curtain welcomes you into a world of fantasy where there are no rules when it comes to mixing aesthetics or styles.
This location is certainly unique and surreal for a city like Milano. The beach vibes and backyard barbecue will immediately transport you to cocktail hour in Barcelona - and this wasn't just a figure of speech! During the summer you can rent out their barbecue and organise your own grilled lunch right in the backyard area! In the winter, the fun is taken indoors where you can savor some of the best cocktails in town. Surfer's Den infamous Yuri Gelmini, the master and artist behind the bar, will delight you with his very special creations. I promise that this is the only place in Milano where you will find such a broad selection of cocktails and local Italian liquors.
I am madly in love with the interior decor of this place where everything from the glasses, to the trays or the mirrors was carefully selected from the best vintage sellers. I recommend coming here if you want something out of the ordinary and you are ready to be immersed in a different universe for one night!
