Moby Dick is a coffee place in the center of Minsk. It's notable for its calm, distraction-free atmosphere. Basically, it's a place where people usually come to work out of the office on workdays. Students from the university nearby often get ready for their classes here.
The coffee menu is fairly standard. You can order americano, cappuccino, raf coffee... Also, they do alternative brewing like Aeropress, V60, Chemex, etc. The tea menu is more complex. For example, you can order cascara tea, or even pu'er.
The interior design is simple but noticeable. They say that they have "tried to recreate the atmosphere of the flat of a soviet professor who has traveled in Africa a lot". Well, I guess they've succeeded.
The bar counter has been decorated by young street artist Cowek. He mostly works with ceramics, and if you pay attention, you can notice the same decoration in different parts of Minsk.
So, this is a great, calm place to have your coffee break during the day.
