Leader of modern art
One of Russia's most up-to-date contemporary galleries has found its permanent location in Gorky park. A couple of years ago it finally moved into the big mirror "box" that was specially built for the museum. From the very first months of its existence, Garage has been a hyped-up place, and now it's still setting the trends.
The exhibition space normally hosts 3-4 exhibitions and the ground floor is suitable for concerts. Not classical music, though we are in a museum; Flying Lotus, London Grammar and many other bands.
The schedule of movie screenings, public talks and lectures is always something to check out. Moreover, don't forget about Garage Publishing. They have really nice books about art and more with very neat typography and an eye for design.
There are no permanent exhibitions inside so each visit is granted to be unique.
