As the name suggests, Beer Palace is a haven for beer enthusiasts. It's a popular weekend and after-work hangout, and what I particularly appreciate about this place is its extensive beer selection. With 34 beer taps offering local and international brands, there's a beer to suit every taste. Additionally, they provide beer tasting samples, where you can order a beer tasting plank for 245 NOK and enjoy 6 samples from the tap menu, either of your own choice or handpicked by the bartender.
Situated in the popular shopping district of Aker Brygge, Beer Palace has expanded over the years since its establishment in 1993. Despite its growth, it has maintained its old-fashioned charm with brick walls, cozy rooms featuring wooden tables, and soft leather sofas. Spanning over two floors, Beer Palace also consists of a delightful outdoor seating area, adorned with flowers during the summer, while decorated with colorful lightbulbs in the winter.
Sports enthusiasts will enjoy sitting on the second floor as they can watch football matches and other sporting events on a big screen. They also have 2 Grand Champion 22ft shuffleboards as well as dartboards for everyone to enjoy. While the pub doesn't have its own food menu, you can easily curb your hunger by ordering a juicy burger from the nearby restaurant, Burger Joint. All you need to do is to order and pay using the QR code, and once it is ready, your food will delivered to your table.
