If wandering at Parque da Cidade made you lose track of time and now you feel kind of hungry, Soundwich is the ideal place for you to go for a bite. I love this place as it is very well wrapped in the park atmosphere, with modest, but thoughtful decoration, making me feel like I'm in a true farmhouse both at the terrace or inside the house.
Soundwich restaurant serves signature tapas or sandwiches, idealized by some of the most famous Portuguese chefs. I love to go there on sunny days for the signature sandwiches, they are quite big and tasty, and come in a cool box with the chef's face engraved, it's a pity we can't bring the box back home. The sandwiches' or as they call them soundwiches' fillings/signatures change from time to time, so right now my favorite one is the Luis Américo, mixing Italian flavors such as prosciutto, arugula, olive paste, tomato and truffle. On weekends between 11:00 and 15:00 they also serve brunch.
The name Soundwich mixes their best, namely the sandwiches and the word sound, as the music coming from the speakers is jazzy style, matching perfectly with the site.
Enjoy!
"Casa Guedes" serves the best pork sandwiches there can be, at least in Porto, but don't expect a fancy restaurant. I usually go for the serra cheese one.

"Venham mais 5" in Porto is definitely not about a fancy atmosphere. It is all about experiencing the 'prego'. If you are like me, you want to go back...
