I will leave the National Museum in Prague for a separate article as this place is absolutely worth visiting. The museum is fun for adults, and it is definitely a great place to bring your kids with you. Part of the museum is also a Children's museum. The entrance is just 140 CZK, you will get your 90 minutes slot (better check the hours on internet) so that the number of kids inside is limited and that you can enjoy your stay in the museum.
The focus is on children's imagination and creativity. In the first room, there is a game featuring a huge interactive wall with different games that are controlled by throwing balls. In the second room, which has three floors, you will find plenty of interactive exhibits and games. In the middle, there is a big globe – inside, you will find various projections prepared by a Czech TV station.
The third room is dedicated to creativity, where your kids can paint and create based on what they learned in the museum. Many beautiful books about nature and science are the best inspiration for your bookshelves.
The exhibition is in the New Building of the National Museum next to the original building (I suggest visiting them both). It is intended for children aged 4 and older. The exhibition offers many new perspectives on the world around us, nature, and people and invites you to learn by playing.
