Farë is an almost hidden gem on the right side of the main square and its name, meaning seed in Albanian, is the best indication that it's a vegan bar.
As it comes, it's an interior designer's dream with its statement "lobby" that has magazine potential. The walls are adorned with posters of upcoming artistic events in the city and beautiful digital prints or paintings. It is a spot to drink, eat some light food, play board games, study, and bring your child with you while you enjoy your coffee, either inside or outside on the beautiful patio.
The first time I went in, I saw the bar and a mom changing songs on the TV's YouTube channel to find something that her child, who was in a stroller, liked. One or two tables away, there was a girl on her laptop, working or studying, who knows? A few tables further, people were drinking, snacking on delicious vegan sandwiches, and playing board games. The workers kept going by their tables although it's a self-service place, because they were getting invested in the board games people were playing and keeping track of their progress. I chose to just sit back, observe, drink some tea, and write in my journal. Since then, it's become a staple recommendation on my side.
It is truly a space that intertwines all kinds of people in an effortless way - full of creativity, peace, and laughter, all things I like to add to my day.
