If you love an until-late-at-night/early-morning venture but don't feel like going for the typical club scene (like me), taverna Menata is just the spot for us both, my friend.
Just a few minutes from the famous B Street in Prishtina, Menata pulled me in immediately with its resemblance to a cozy mountain villa from the outside. The coziness stretches to the inside too, and with its opening hours being almost 24/7, it might as well become a second home to me. There's good food and great drinks, and although there are no beds, the lively atmosphere, especially when there is live music, and specifically, for a live music fiend like me, has me up on my feet the whole night, forgetting sleep is even a thing.
As it's usually pretty packed, I've had to use one of the trees in the middle of the venue as a jacket holder and to share tables, and chairs cosplaying as tables for my drink and mezze with many people before. That's how you then find yourself meeting new people, dancing with them shoulder to shoulder, singing along to Albanian and English hits, and even getting offered a drink or two as well. In my opinion, it is hard to find a place more charming than this one.

It's the perfect spot to grab a drink; my favorite is the blueberry juice, and to eat a snack. The chicken salad or the Sach Attack burger are really good!

I recommend the “Menu-ja e shtëpisë” or the House Menu. A combination of traditional and non-traditional food comes together in about 10 specialties.

I love going for a walk there to clear my head. It reminds me to enjoy the moment, especially since it's on a hill and therefor offers a perfect view.
