In this time of the year the Roman evenings are quite warm so what I really love is to have a beer in the open air with my friends. The "Chioschetto a Ponte Tazio" is one my favorite places for that. It is located on via Nomentana, just before it reaches piazza Sempione, close to a small park. The "Chioschetto" got its name from the nearby bridge "ponte Tazio", an old bridge on the Aniene River. It's really close and it's worth the short walk to get there!
The Chioschetto is open from afternoon to late at night, so it's perfect for an aperitif at sunset or for a drink after dinner. The atmosphere is really friendly and easygoing. I find different kinds of people hanging out there every time: from the inhabitants of the neighborhood to some guys who want to drink something before going to a nearby disco.
It has some outdoor tables where you can sit and relax. The perfect place to have a drink and chat with some friends.
