We love to spend a Sunday afternoon in Kino - like we did last Sunday. The relaxed atmosphere there and their great selection of movies (we went to Chet Baker's - Let's Get Lost) make it such a nice place.
With West Kruiskade around the corner, it is very tempting to skip home cooking after the movies and pick one of the many good eateries. That's how we ended up at Kampong. A small, cosy, Malaysian restaurant with very friendly service. At home, we sometimes make Laksa, but we haven't eaten it as well in a long time. And oh yes, even though we hardly eat any meat at home, we gladly make an exception for the crispy chicken!
