The Harvest is located in a lively area, surrounded by other restaurants, bars, and cafes, and it's conveniently close to Central Station. It is one of my top 5 restaurants in Rotterdam, not only because they serve delicious food, but also because the story behind the label is incredibly fulfilling.
They work directly with farmers to serve seasonal, high-quality Harvest Bowls. I really appreciate the concept here, as you can create your own bowl of delicious food. It always provides a comforting experience, like a big hug! Personally, I enjoy building my own bowl with vegetable chickpea burgers, sweet potatoes, chickpea and aubergine curry, and roasted cauliflower. It's wonderful to see the collaboration between farmers and the creation of amazingly delicious dishes on the table!
The place offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas, a welcoming crew, and, of course, healthy but delicious healthy food. They also have a location in Delft, but I believe Rotterdam was their first one to open. I hope you enjoy your visit. Oh, and please do try the chocolate beetroot brownie! You won't regret it!
