The best things in life are free and that is not something you come across very often in San Francisco.
San Francisco Recreation and Parks offers free Zumba 7 days a week! With over 40 classes in various parks around the city, the options are endless.
So what is Zumba? It's basically a non-stop dance party to Latin Music and Top 40 hits. Each instructor creates their own playlist and dance moves so you are sure not to get bored even if you go to several classes a week.
If you are new to Zumba, don't worry! Classes are taught at all levels. My favorite class is Sundays in Golden Gate Park. Class starts at 10:00 and meets in front of the Carousel.
Some classes are held outside while others are in park buildings. Make sure to check the schedule to see if you are going to be dancing outside. The weather in San Francisco can change rapidly, so make sure to wear layers.
