I once worked with a woman who only got her hair cut twice a year...in Paris. My role in the company took me to Chennai and Lahore twice a year, her role took her to Paris twice a year. I thought she was crazy. Then, I noticed that her hair looked fantastic, even as it grew out. Maybe she was on to something.

While traveling, men can get a little shaggy. Brogan and Son is an eye catching barber shop on Battery Street along the Scenic 49 mile route.

Many locals make appointments after work for a trim, shave or cut while holding a pint. The place is intimate, clean and cool. The decor fits the Modern Nostalgia look we see all over the City.

On weekdays, there's often a line of regulars waiting outside. Every barber here gets rave reviews but you may be lucky enough to book an appointment with the owner, Aidan Brogan. Hours are not posted but you can go online to book an appointment. For same day appointments, give them a call and they'll squeeze you in if they can.
