Time and time again I return to Kitchen Story, bringing city visitors, locals, or anyone who has yet to try the famous Millionaire's Bacon. There is truly nothing else like it. $ 8 or not, you know I'm going to be ordering it for breakfast.
I love this brunch spot because the food is just consistently great. I love the decor and ambiance, and I plan my visits ahead. The weekends can get very busy, much like everywhere else in the city, so plan to get there before or around 10:00 lest waiting in an hour long line!
The food is worth it. For savory, I love the pork belly huevos rancheros or the Millionaire's benedict. For sweet, try the ricotta pancakes (they taste like clouds!). As for the bacon, well, you'll just have to visit to see what's so great.
