This is one of my favorite spots for after work lunch. Located on the parking lot next to the "Holiday Inn" Hotel in the heart of the city, it can't be any easier to find this place. A perfect time to visit is after 17:00, when the down town rush hour is over, so you can relax on the outside terrace. The place may not look much from the outside, or the inside for that matter, but they sure serve great Macedonian specialties.
Ask for the menu, and take your time because it's pretty heavy. Or if you want, you can follow my lead:
Start with Shopska salad, some panned zucchinis, "Pinjur" and cheese stuffed paprika, along with couple of Rakija's. After you've finished with the pre-course, order grilled liver with garlic and chicken fingers (panned slices of chicken steak) along with Skopsko Beer (Rakija doesn't go very well with meat). If you still have space for dessert, ask for some Turkish delights, they keep them fresh so the offer varies from day to day.
By the time you've finished with the meal, it would be nightfall so you might as well continue to party at the bars in the City's Trade Center, to burn off some of the food.
