Dramski is one of the oldest theaters in Skopje, and in its very building, you will find Dramski Kafe Bar, where the actors and directors are regulars, and where people sometimes choose to relax with a drink after a good play.
The terrace is lovely, and the prices are great. What I love about the neighborhood is that it's secluded, the cafe is hidden within a park, yet the boulevard from where you can get to anywhere in Skopje is just a few steps away. Parking is free.
If you're lucky, you will hear a good story about what the cafe meant throughout Macedonia's and Skopje's theater history. And it really is nice to sit at the same location where some of the best stage actors in Macedonia used to spend their time between rehearsals, where screenplays were tweaked and written, and so many stories were born, both for stage and real life.
