About me
I was born in Madrid, but I've lived here and there due to my job in the tech industry, having spent half my life traveling the world. Thanks to that, I've had the chance to meet people from all sorts of cultures and with diverse tastes.
This sparked my curiosity to learn more about how people live in their own countries. Eventually, I left the tech industry and spent more than a decade traveling the world, camera in hand, exploring cuisines that were new to me - I'm that friend who always gets asked for restaurant recommendations. My passion for gastronomy led me to cross paths with the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the world's oldest gastronomic society, and today I'm the Culinary Advisor for the Chaîne in Spain.
Recently, fate brought me to Barcelona, and, in some way, I decided to put down roots here as well, spending as much time in Madrid as in Barcelona.
Why Madrid?
Madrid is big enough not to get bored doing the same thing, but it is not so big that it is overwhelming. It is a city that invites you to walk and spend time outside thanks to its climate. This and the open character of Madrid residents makes it very easy to socialize. If you are an outgoing person, Madrid is the perfect city to live.
