About me

Collector of strange facts, traveller, storyteller, illustrator, photography fan, language enthusiast, hiker, film freak, book addict, animal lover.

Why Valencia?

After many years of travelling and living abroad, I (a Dutch native) ended up in Valencia. But it wasn't because I fell in love with the city.

I went to Valencia to get my NIE (Spanish identification number), which was supposed to be easy. That turned out to be a lie. As I waited, I began to explore the city, and I'm still here, enjoying it immensely.

Valencia is a fantastic mix of old and new. It has a laid-back vibe (no pasa nada) and friendly locals (always two kisses). It is sunny and nestled between palm trees and the sea. What are you waiting for?

I'm excited to share my Valencian curiosities with you!
