About me
Hi, I'm Tatiana. I am a Russian by birth, Spanish by blood but a traveller by heart. Until now I have always been on the move for some kind of reason. I think I have inherited these traits from my father… who was always planning our next move or travel. Travelling is the great true love of my life. I have always felt that to travel is worth any cost or sacrifice. Some of my fondest memories involve me being away from home.
I love being out of my comfort zone, that's when I feel most alive and free.
Why Barcelona
I love Barcelona because of the "mix" it offers. It is not too busy or too calm. It is the kind of city you can just calmly walk around on a sunny day or get lost in its labyrinth of streets.
It is a city that offers you a piece of any other part of the world. When I walk around el Raval for example I feel as if I am somewhere in Morocco or even India due to the high percentage of Asian people and shops you can encounter.
Apart from the nice weather, delicious food and passionate people, Barcelona is simply a city which offers freedom and the chance to be whoever you want to be without any judgement.
Where else can you find me online?
"Bar Mendizabal" in Barcelona also known as 'barra del Raval' for its location, is a sandwich heaven. My favorite is their 'onion black pudding'...

"Plaça Sant Felip Neri" Barcelona is a very small square full of history and street music and has also been a film location. I like coming here to unwind.

"Africa Bar & Restaurant Foni" is exactly the kind of place you won't find on your usual Barcelona guidebook with home-made, authentic West African dishes!
