All important cities in the world have a SOFO or a NOFO, and just a few years back even Stockholm got its SOFO. It was created by a community of eager entrepreneurs in this area who wanted more people to come visit and discover this part of both Södermalm and Stockholm. SOFO offers a lot to its visitors. You'll find both designer clothes, second-hand, cool bars, intimate restaurants but also crazy shops, tiny shops and the odd wine bar.
Some of my favourite restaurants are Demi Matbar, Brickyard and Urban Dehli. All good places for a bite to eat. Vina Wine Bar is also a great place to go to. Katarina Ölcafé serves beer from both Swedish and international microbreweries. If you want to do some shopping, you will find quite a few independent shops here. Some are only selling high-quality raincoats, and others exclusive jewellery. There are plenty of second-hand stores here to discover as well. The SOFO has plenty of ethnic restaurants too, some small cozy to larger grill houses. Don't miss the dumplings at Fang Yuan Shi Wu, Södermannagatan 37. Tasty homemade dumplings. For beer lovers you should visit BrewDog at Ringvägen 149B, a fun place with plenty of choices, and they change tap beer often as they have guest taps. SOFO is a fun place to visit!

Here I always struggle to choose between the Praguer and Schnitzel Feldkurat Katz. When it comes to beer, I go for Prímator or the Pilsner Urquell.

Demi serves a variety of food items and the menu changes regularly. Sobrasada, a hot and spicy Spanish sausage is what I eat almost every time I visit.
