Socials is a lively cafe that serves all courses of food, including dishes catering to vegetarians. The menu borrows from many cuisines in the world, but it's very much internationalized. They also have a variety of "hip" drinks, such as chai and matcha lattes, as well as different kinds of non-dairy milk. Whenever I go, I end up ordering a fruit lemonade - refreshing and not excessively sweet. One of my favorite items from the main course menu is tacos. They have two kinds, and both are great, considering we are located in Tashkent!
The items that are actually Socials' calling card are its Instagrammable desserts. they have a few desserts that are not only tasty but also exciting to unwrap! They are served in a round bottomless can, holding the dessert in a paper ring. When the paper is unwrapped, the crumbs and sauce spill onto the plate, creating a delightful visual effect. I am enthralled every time. It never gets old! I recommend the tres leches cake, but be warned - this one is almost too sweet even for my well-sugared tooth.
Socials has the kind of interior design and plates that make you want to stay for a long time. There are two floors and an outdoor seating area. The ground floor has plenty of seating, and the basement has a children's playground with additional seating. A good place for family brunches, alcohol-free friend get-togethers, or just a tasty chai latte
