Bord de l'eau ("waterside" in French), is not just any bar, it's an idea that brings love for design and entertainment together.
As you enter you'll notice a gallery, that's the Design Factory, check it out without a second thought. It hosts lovely jewelry collections and remarkably designed lamps and sculptures all made by the owners. The gallery's opening hours are: Mon – Fri 11:00 – 15:00 & 17:00 - 21:00, Sat 11:00 – 18:00.
Next step is the Drink Room, where you will inhale art in any form, from the music to the copper-dressed bar and the cocktails, to the wooden ceiling lights and you will not regret stepping inside.
There is a contemporary and minimal twist to everything, even the menus, created by the "Monoscopic" team, are pleasing to the eye and I always feel like I'm at a Scandinavian urban bar and what's better than that? What I absolutely love is that I can come here all dressed up and stuff or in sweatpants and still be in sync with Bord de l'eau.
There is a different DJ every night of the week and I can never get enough of the electronic sounds.
Extra tip: that's a weird one but visit the bathroom. First of all the space is filled with works of art, from a painted skateboard to a 90s themed poster, all worth taking a look and second of all you have to see the mirror turned window and the light creating vivid shadows.

Even a tiny church in Thessaloniki can be a pearl! One of the smallest (if not the smallest of all) is the “Sotirakis” chapel. “Sotirakis” means little Sotiris.

"Massalia stin Thessaloniki" quickly became the talk of the town in 2014 when it opened. Today, this restaurant systematically exceeds my expectations.

In front of the promenade of Thessaloniki, there are innumerable cafes. The presumable question that a visitor may have is: “Which one should I choose?”. I have the answer! Of course, “Castello”.
