Enohes Thessaloniki

Lately there is a trend going on around Thessaloniki with lots of new coffee bars opting for a "looks like a house but it isn't" kind of pattern and scheme. I find it quite an interesting move but one that needs caution in order for it not to end up on the "too much" side.

Enohes (translates to "Guilt") is doing exactly that: it's too much but funnily enough it's so deep into the "too much" side that it works and it works amazingly well.

Five different rooms, plenty of different tables, couches, armchairs, mirrors, paintings and the list goes on. In Enohes nothing is repeated and that's the beauty of it. Every time you visit is a new experience, a different perspective of the same shop. My favorite spot is definitely the narrow room that fits only a table and five chairs on each side of it.

The menu offers a variety of homemade snacks and sweets, as well as fancy cocktails and flavored hot chocolate.

Extra tip: find Enohouli, the cutest cat ever, playing around the cafe and snap a picture with him.
