Nea Diagonios Thessaloniki

In the eastern part of Thessaloniki, you can find the “paradise of meat”, the restaurant “Nea Diagonios” (literally, “New Diagonal”). Although the area is not touristy, it is worth visiting (don’t worry, there is a menu in English too). You can combine lunch or dinner with a walk on the promenade.

The prices are expensive, but it's the highest quality! Once you see the menu, you want to order everything, and you just can’t help yourself. The signature dishes are typical Greek recipes (“gyros”, which is pork slices with onion, and “soutzoukakia”, which is roast meatballs).
