Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the biggest University in Greece but probably this information is not of much interest for you. But what surely interests you are the parties that are held every weekend in various buildings of the University campus.
Places like Asteroskopio, Polytechnio, Filosofiki, Nomiki or Steki sto Viologiko might not mean much to you, but these are the names of University buildings or squatted areas inside the campus, that frequently parties are taking place.
Some parties are commercial, some are more alternative and some are totally underground depending on the organizer or the place of the party. If you walk through Navarinou square in the middle of the week, you will be updated by the street posters for the upcoming parties!
These parties are full of young people, and especially students, that party like there's no tomorrow. Very often there is more than one party at the same night in various buildings so if you get bored you have the option of trying another party!
Recently a new facebook page was created solely to keep everyone informed about the upcoming parties. Stay tuned!!
