Do you know when you’re drunk and you cannot walk straight? That’s what Barcollo means in Italian.
So, as we say in Italy, this is the case when the name itself guarantees that you’re going to drink a lot.
Vanchiglia neighborhood offers you several opportunities to go out in the evening and, I have to say, that’s really my favorite area for the nightlife in Turin, because it’s not as chaotic as San Salvario, but there are several cool places. One of these is Barcollo.
This is a perfect place to go with friends, because there’s a very nice atmosphere: the place is cozy, the bartenders are kind and there are usually a lot of people chilling out.
If you are a cocktail lover, it's definitely the right place, because the bartender is one of the best in Turin; the quality of the drinks is very high yet still cheap! In fact, the price for a cocktail is 4€ (that is half of what you would pay in a lot of places). A very nice thing is that you can order popcorn while you’re drinking cocktail!
My favorite drink is for sure Moscow Mule, but if you don't know what to choose, just tell the bartender the main (or some) ingredient you wish to have in your drink and he will surprise you.
I hope you enjoy it!
