Did you know that the Berklee College of Music, the largest college of contemporary music in the world, has its European campus in Valencia? Berklee alumni have won over 300 Grammy Awards, more than any college in the world. Located in the iconic City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia's campus is the first Berklee's international campus and the first outside of Boston.
The students have the pleasure of studying at a place designed specifically for music and equipped with state-of-the-art technology... Valencians and the guests of the city can enjoy the concerts of the students, future Grammy stars. The concerts normally take place in Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia and are priced around 5 EUR. There can also be free open-air concerts at the City of Arts and Sciences. I have already visited 3 concerts in Palau, and it was always a pleasure and a discovery.
The student community performing the concerts is very international, and you literally "meet the world". They are very talented, energetic and you enjoy the youth vibes all around. The idea of the performance is also very creative and mixes classic heritage with contemporary music culture. I check their event calendar regularly and try not to miss any new concert.
