This tavern, located in El Grau neighbourhood near the port, is a classic if you want to have some typical tapas in a casual and fun atmosphere. The establishment preserves the original wine cellar from 1906, with old bottles on the shelves and a long bar running through the premises. We could say that it is reminiscent of the typical bar that you could find in any neighbourhood in Spain in the 60s and 70s. The first thing that catches your attention is the totally eclectic decoration of the past with nautical touches: paintings, posters, photos, press clippings, comics, and objects as vintage traces.
Several environments are created inside, you can taste a beer or a wine with a tapa or pincho both at the bar or at one of the marble tables. The outdoor area is a favourite during good weather, either for just standing or at one of the tables located right in front. The house's speciality is its Spanish omelettes, which you will find in various types, such as chistorra with vermouth or sobrasada and cheese. Every day, in addition to their tapas menu, they offer a spoon dish, and although reservations are not necessary, they are especially recommended on weekends.
