Valencia is famous for its oranges, and there are plenty of orange trees around the city, but would you like to have a relaxing drink in a real orchard? I enjoy one at Villa Indiano, which is just at the Burjassot metro. The orchard surrounds a XIX century French Art Nouveau villa that was recently transformed into a gastronomic space. There is a restaurant that offers the famous Paella Valenciana and other dishes.
Reservations are needed for both Menu del Mediodia for the lunch and evening meals. The restaurant interior is spacious; watch out for historic tiles on the floor. A visit for the drinks in the garden does not need a reservation. Several times a month there are regular paella cooking lessons. There could also be other cultural events both for adults and children; check their site. You can also book your private event in a dedicated area. The visit to the garden does not need a booking. There is a relaxing atmosphere, board games like Monopoly are provided for the guests, and there is a small playground for the kids.
