As I am writing this text about Backstage Cafe, I am sitting in the very place -- a hidden pearl in the urban, grey and so not touristy part of Vilnius called the Newtown.
Don't be fooled by all the small stores that you will find on the way to this special place - lighting studios, construction items and many many more - you are on the right path.
At Backstage Cafe, which is also a roaster's, you will not only find amazing specialty coffee, desserts and cocktails, but also an exceptional interior and vibe. The place is rather dark -- at Backstage Cafe, urban meets the classic; pets are welcome, the volume of the lounge music is down and you can enjoy your quick espresso or spend the whole day working, reading or having a conversation with a friend.
They also have occasional DJ sessions at the place during the warm season - there are places to sit outside and enjoy the cool breeze together with your coffee.
Because of all this, it's a perfect place for any occasion. Hop on a trolley or bus and give this place a try. You can also purchase their roasted coffee which would make a great and very special souvenir to bring back home.
