Even though Lithuania is famous for its beer there are some places that can serve you rare and quality spirits. King and Mouse bar falls into that category.
This bar is situated at shortest and narrowest street in town. That whole street is the bar, to be exact, as the owners turned it into most cozy terrace.
The place serves and sells over 300 different types of whisky. The bartenders are always happy to help you while making a choice and are well educated whisky-wise. Don’t hesitate to ask them questions and remember - order tastes and aromas, not brands. The bartenders create their own sublime cocktails and even make the ingredients on their own. (My favorite - lavender whisky cocktail).
Even if you’re not a whisky lover - the menu can satisfy even the most exquisite taste. Wine, beer, snacks and some salads are also available.
Bartenders do not only serve and sell whisky, they also host tasting events. Follow the King and Mouse events calendar and register. You’ll definitely gain some great whisky wisdom.
All in all it’s a great place for a drink or two on a warm summer night or cold winter evening. You’ll find something that will fit your mood.
