In my opinion this place is one of the last quality techno/house music clubs standing in Vilnius. Most of the night clubs in Vilnius are rather outdated and are oriented towards 1st year students. Opium, on the other hand, is a completely different story. People are willing to stand in a whole street-long line, pay a considerably expensive entrance fee just because they know it’s going to be worth it.
Opium Club earned itself a very good reputation over the years and they do take it seriously. Careful face-control ensures that only dance and party willing people are going to get in and there’s no unpleasant incidents.
Opium Club is run by internationally well-known DJs who bring a bit of that European clubs atmosphere to Vilnius. Opium Club closes up for the summer season, but they’re always back in September. Follow their events agenda on Facebook or their page to see DJ line-ups.
The club itself is situated above Asian fusion restaurant “Briusly”. Keep in mind, that even though it’s possible to get into Opium Club at 23:00 or 00:00, most of the people start to gather up at around 01:00 - 02:00 and keep dancing until 07:00 or 08:00 in the morning.
