Akademia Smaków, which stands for Academy of Flavours, is a bistro run by chef Ryszard Majewski. It's a great place for having lunch that I visit every time I don't feel like cooking myself and I've never been disappointed; that's why I feel so lucky to have this spot in my neighbourhood.
They have an extensive menu that changes each week written on a blackboard and published on their facebook page. As in any proper Polish eatery, your lunch can be composed of a soup and a main dish. Two or three of them are always either traditional or modern versions of Polish dishes like kotlet schabowy or pierogi, while the rest is more international, including Mexican or Asian. If you don't have to go back to work after your meal, you can enjoy it with a glass of wine or a bottle of craft beer. Otherwise, kompot (furit drink), tea and coffee are always available.
