Galeria Delfiny, located in Powisle district is one of my favorite art galleries in town.
My friend Daniel once made an exhibition with his paintings there called "Izolacja", whose subject was how the artist sometimes has to be apart from other people in order to create, and that's how I discovered it.
The gallery is small: it looks like an old apartment that has been transformed in order to host art events, especially paintings and pictures. Their vernissage openings can be very crowded, but there is the possibility to meet real art lovers over there.
Last time I was there, a quartet of strings was playing, while the guests were free to admire Daniel's work. That was the perfect synthesis between music and paintings.
I would definitely say that it's not fancy at all, but real in the true meaning of the word in the art world.
