Since I moved to Warsaw, (well, it was a while ago) I have always been looking for that place that makes you feel home, maybe because of the music, maybe because of the mood or the view. Something familiar is always missing when you live abroad, it doesn't matter how long you have been living in a city.
Well, Pardon To Tu is that kind of place. In addition, they have been changing location, at least three times in the last 6 years, but always, they are able to re-create the impression you liked at first.
I have to say, they didn't change a thing, they just changed the location.
The spot has a wide range of events, they have live concerts (check the web page to see what's going on), I would say, the best in Warsaw if you like to be outside the mainstream. Of course, they have also good beer and then a bookstore and vinyl shop.
I wrote an article a couple of years ago about them -- I didn't copy it, they are just the same as they were!
A must, if you want to enjoy a different mood in Warsaw. Let's say, a must if you want to enjoy Warsaw.
"Fort Mokotów" in Warsaw once used to defend the tower. Now it's a venue for restaurant & art gallery events - start from getting a beer from Garden!

"Przysmak" Warsaw is a place my father used to come for 'obiad' (lunch). This is one of my favorite bars for a budget lunch and 'kompot' drink.

"Królikarnia" is one of Warsaw's museums that have recently had a "facelift". Check out their wooden camera obscura in the backyard - and the book cafe!

"Park Skaryszewski" one of the larges parks in Warsaw and a historic one with a local feel. I especially like taking a stroll on its northern bank.

"Dos Tacos" in Warsaw serves the real taste of Mexico. The employees of the Mexican embassy eat here regularly: do I need to say anything more?

"Klub SPATiF" Warsaw is a magical place. Once the meeting point of the creme de la creme, today it's old-fashioned in a positive way with great events.

"The Alchemist" Warsaw is a trendy pub located in the modern Metropolitan building. I love their beer wall which works like a self service beer on tap!
