Plac Zabaw is an open-air venue right on the Vistula River. Situated above its cousin BarKa, it’s a seasonal subsidiary of the beloved Plan B.
It's 2000 m2 of space to get some sun and fresh air while enjoying some of the best concerts in Warsaw, awesome documentaries and movies, comedy from Warsaw's own Klub Komediowy, food fairs, all sorts of workshops for kids and adults alike, cycling (they've got their own pump track and the Dwa Osiem cafe+bike shop+pizzeria!), a diving pool, three bars and more. Oh, yeah – and great drinks and deckchairs. That's it in a nutshell!
All through the summer enjoy concerts within the Lado w Mieście alternative music festival at Plac Zabaw. They have managed to get some of Poland's best bands on to one stage, along with special musical guests from the whole world: from the States all the way to Australia!
Warsaw's own (and only!) comedy club takes over Plac Zabaw's stage a few times a week and reduces the entire audience to tears - from laughter of course (unless the joke is really bad...). Every Tuesday evening, there is a movie screening. The selection of movies isn't mainstream and one can really discover some great cinema (often the movies are in English or with English subtitles!).
Experiencing all of this in a deckchair and with a cold drink in your hand is just an added perk.
