SAM is a culinary venue in the Powiśle district that appeared on the up-and-coming Lipowa Street in the summer of 2012. Since it opened, the smell of freshly baked bread and pastries wafting through the air drew people in from all over Warsaw.
SAM not only serves bread, but actually makes it on the spot – downstairs SAM is equipped with its own bakery. So here fresh means straight-out-of-the-oven! Wrapped up in the warm smell of freshly baked goods, one can sit down in its light and pleasant interior. A long wooden table in the middle of the room makes it possible to socialize – to sit down with friends or complete stranger, enabling one to meet new people over a cup of coffee and a sweet bun. But of course, there are smaller tables to sit at all along the walls, and, at least in the summer time, the place is packed.
Why? Because other than the allure of fresh bread, SAM reels in clientele by offering a wide range of very good food – you'll find it both a great place for breakfast or brunch, but also a light dinner on the town. They take pride in their food – all of the products they use are very high quality. A delicatessen with products that will let you make great food at your own home!
Update: they just open a bagel place on Emilii Plater! And you'll also find them on Twarda Street & in the Żoliborz district!
