Italian cuisine is the most popular all around the world, I suppose due to the universality of the products and ingredients and the low budget recipes that have made Italian recipes spread around. What I think it is more difficult to find is ingredients of good quality. Even if we are talking about very simple cuisine, their freshness and standards will make all the difference.
In this way, Warsaw is not different than other cities outside of Italy: anyone might think that a restaurant can serve Italian dishes - finding Italian food in Warsaw is not difficult at all - but how disappointing they can be...
Fortunately, "Spaccanapoli" (the name of the street that cut in two Napoli) opened in Warsaw, and guests can find the real Italian taste there. The place is not so big: the crowd is mostly Italian and the look of the spot reminds me of many "Belpaese" restaurants.
I checked several dishes, and I will suggest the pizza which is really tasty, and the "parmigiana" which, true, is a little bit fatty, but is one of the best recipes Italian cuisine has even given birth to.
The location is easy to reach since it is near the Swietokrzyska metro station, just opposite to PKIN. Have a break and enjoy a slice of Italy in Spaccanapoli.
