Grochów has not had its own multi-tap bar before. There were Grochownia and Kicia Kocia (both serving as cafes) and a chain Bobby Burger but not yet a proper bar. Stacja Grochów fills this empty space with gorgeous beer, wine and good food (hamburgers, sandwiches, steaks). The food is mostly meat though, so Stacja will not be a place for vegetarians, but they also have some Polish desserts: creme brulée with rhubarb, semifreddo, and chocolate mousse with raspberries.
Since the opening in 2015, this lovely pavilion has served as a meeting point for the people of Grochów. It is a funny thing to see this architectural pearl, always a bit off the road, empty or filled with short-life-shops, suddenly bursting with life, chit-chats and laughter.
There are new beers available, e.g. John Cherry. Also: check their classics like the Pulled Pork Classic and promos (on FB and on posters near the entrance). Careful: they are only open until 22:00 so no late-night talks here.
On 26 July Stacja Grochów will be celebrating, together with many Warsaw places the 46th birthday of Trasa Łazienkowska, Warsaw's artery running up to Rondo Wiatraczna from Politechnika.
