Vintage Kolektyw is a cafe in Saska Kępa where you can buy assorted PRL (People's Republic of Poland) goods at really good prices - everything you are sitting on and drinking out of can be purchased. I was introduced to Vintage Kolektyw by a friend who, being a frequent visitor, spoke highly of the possibility of finding an original gadget for yourself or a great gift for someone.
If you are a fan of PRL design, you MUST visit Vintage Kolektyw. Browsing through a mass of chairs, lamps, sofas and objects and rummaging through small things like pins, porcelain goods, and posters is not only a pleasure, it's also educational to a great extent.
Vintage Kolektyw offers great coffee (about a month ago, a new coffee machine came to support the bartenders with their work), shakes, teas and some sweets. It can't possibly get any better than this in Saska Kępa!
