Waszyngton has quickly become the most trendy coffee shop in Grochów district right after its opening. It occupies a pavilion after a former Społem grocery shop, which are typically known for their modernist airy architecture. This location was no different and it features large windows filling the façade from three sides facing Waszyngtona Avenue.
The new owners preserved the external part while the interior is completely new. However, it has been designed with a vintage look in mind. Both the use of the terrazzo on the floor and the counter as well as the ’70s inspired furniture and accessories create a consistent look which in my personal opinion is one of the best coffee shop design in the city.
