Simply put, shaurma is a wrap with meat and vegetables. In reality, it's an art of street food. It is a very famous type of street food in Armenia. You can find it at least in each 100 meters in the central parts of Yerevan. You should be very careful to find a place with good quality of meat.
Artashnots is one of those places. It's located in downtown Yerevan, near the Crumbs Bread Factory. All kinds of people visit this place in search of good shaurma. You can either take the food away with you or sit in their cafe and enjoy it with a bunch of people consuming shaurmas like it's their last meal and the world will end in 5 minutes. Overall, it's a good place to experience Yerevan food like a pro.
My favorite drink there is Tan (yogurt with water) which goes very well with all types of shaurmas.
