Megerian Carpet is heaven for people who like culture-specific things. The place is a museum of old & new carpets where one can follow the whole process of the preparation of carpets from the coloring of the threads to the final product. I was given a tour where I heard extremely interesting stories about some of the carpets presented in the museum. I've also met people who make the hand-made carpets and they are precious!
The unique thing about this place is that there's a small restaurant located in the museum. The menu brings together dishes of authentic Armenian cuisine. Most importantly, they are prepared by a chef with a very unique food signature. The way the food is prepared and served is worth spending you time and money. The prices are also quite affordable.
