Tucked away in the old city of Zurich, you will find a small bar called "Aelpli-Bar". The name "Aelpli-Bar" translates to "Mountain Bar" in English, and it couldn't be more fitting. The moment you step inside, you will be transported to a warm and cozy mountain atmosphere.
The traditional Swiss furniture and the waitstaff dressed in Swiss attire add to the overall ambiance. You will also get treated to live music performed by local artists. These performances take place every day at 20:00. They have a good selection of Swiss beers and their signature drink, the Aelpli Milk.
This unique alcoholic beverage is made with raw eggs. It sounds a bit odd, and it is definitely an acquired taste, but I loved it. It had a nice foamy texture from the eggs and a sweet taste. I would for sure say that the drink is worth a try.
