Ladies and gentlemen, from Faliro to Kavouri (which means... crab!) here comes the magnificent coastline of Athens!
Lots of people that visit the city ignore how beautiful this walk next to the sea is.
There are kilometers of coastline from Faliro to Elliniko, Alimos, Glyfada, Voula and even farther! So if you feel like you need a break from the center of Athens and that you have already seen too many ancient sights and visited too many museums, it is about time to take a break and visit the coastline of Athens!
One of its highlights is "Floisvos Park" where there are cafes and restaurants around and where you can enjoy your drink while enjoying the sun diving into the sea. Also there are playgrounds for your children! You can enjoy a walk next to the sea and taste "kalampoki" (corn) or "kastana"- typical street food tapas.
Dogs, cats, people running, people with bicycles, families, old people playing chess - it's a lively area of Athens that is worth a walk around in!
It is easily accessible -- just take the green line of train until Faliro and then catch the tram until Floisvos or Batis (direction Asklipeio Voulas) or take the tram from Kasomouli and you can take both directions -- Sef or Asklipeio Voulas.
If you are a lover of the sea please do not miss a walk there!
